Irobot roomba 560
Will only run for a few minutes and says please remove and clean brushes...also makes a thumping noice...funny how exactly 1 year after purchase this occurred. bought new brushes...they sent wrong ones...got new brushes....same problem...well after inspecting it closer...and hand spinning as this site suggested...the squeegy (?) brush was popping out...thus the thumping noice...i took off that....seems to be running fine with out it. nothing was rubbing it. so i cant understand why it keeps popping out...any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Ah ha!!! After cleaning the brushes umpteen times I worked out that you have to remove the very small yellow pieces (not the other ones which sit on the end) but the ones right on the end and look for hair that is caught on the spindle. No more clicking noise either!
If you have pets, unscrew the side panel to the cage that holds the brushes. Inside there are many gears. Mine was completely at a stand still because there was so much dog hair. If this is unclogged, it will run like clockwork. Take out brush cage, unscrew the panel on the right side, clean gears.
I had exactly the same problem and picklers is 100% correct!!!!
