This one is easy to figure out. You can use a voltmeter or a 12 volt light bulb. Please one lead (wire) to the frame of the tractor and the other lead on a battery terminal. If the lamp lights when you place the lead on the POSITIVE terminal (or the meter reads 12 volts), it is a Negative grounded system. If the Lamp lights when you place the lead on the NEGATIVE terminal, it is a POSITIVE ground system.
