Is it possible for me to replace the back-lights, parts BN96-25445A and BN96-25446A, on my Samsung 46" LED HDTV model UN46F7100AF? Where I bought the back-lights said "easy" to do
I have the Samsung service manual, but it doesn't seem to describe back-light replacement. The problem is my TV keeps cycling on and off upon power-on. TV repair guy who took it partially apart said it was the back lights (some burnt out or drawing too much current sometimes).

I agree about the power supply. Even if you’re able to replace some of the bulbs, how would u know which ones. I think it’s best to have a professional do this. Or...I know 6 years isn’t very long, but for what it might cost to repair, it may be time for a new model.
