Bought this camera for travelling around Asia with in September. I'm prone to breaking other cameras so it needed to be sturdy, waterproof, drop proof etc. However somehow it got water damage, the lock is ALWAYS on as I'm paranoid that it isn't really waterproof. Started to trust it after two months of life with me, it had been in the sea, pools, up mountains, motorbikes etc, it seemed man enough to survive life with me, I don't understand how when I always follow the guidelines that it got water inside, it had been in water plenty of times already. The only thing that showed this is that the small strip had turned pink, no obvious water. It wont turn on at all and it's not just the battery as I've tried new ones. Can it be repaired at all or do I just give up and assume there's no standard camera in the world that is robust enough?
