Is it possible to start using a filter on the Jura Impressa x9 without getting a technician out?
The manual states "The CLARIS filter cartridge must be installed for the first time by a service technician. Please contact your JURA service partner" but I'm hoping there's another (cheaper) option

Yes, you can do it I did it on a friends machine, when you install the first time the machine guides you.
