Is it worth my deductible
Im driving a 99 ford ranger, extended cab, 2 wheel drive.Just the other day i had a wreck. A guy hit me on my driver side bumper and the driver side wheel and the ABS light is on and one of the front wheels is locking up and the brake light, the front bumper needs replaced, i need a new valance, my front left turn signal light is completely gone, the headlights are off a bit, the driver side wheel fender well is poped out a bit, and to go straight i have to turn the wheel a bit to the left, and i was just woundering if this is all worth paying my $500 deductible?

It maybe if you plan on keeping the truck,there is obvious mechanical damage to the front end weather it's minor to major I can't tell you,it may be a bent tie rod or bent wheel or the frame may be bent,either way driving the truck in this condition will damage the brakes(not the one already damaged)steering and prematurely wear your tires at the very least and could cause major damage to the rear axle,you need to get some estimates and compare them to the deductible,because it may cost just a couple of hundred to repair the mechanical problems or it could cost a couple thousand just to do the mechanical,add at least a thousand more for the body damage.Your truck books at about $3800 to $4500 with all options,but factor in the economy and It's possible the insurance may call it a total loss also,Hope this info helps.
