Is modem broken?
Need to find out if my alcatel speed touch home modem is broken. Haven't been able to access internet, and ISP won't help until I rule out whether the modem (not supported by the ISP) is the problem. What do I do?

From the ISP, borrow/rent a modem that the ISP _will_ support. If it works, then your DSL line is working, and your modem is the problem.
