It completely quit working even though I have tried all the troubleshooting that has been recommended. The lens is stuck in out position and will not turn on even with new batteries installed. I have only owned this camera for 2 years and really liked it but am disappointed that it has quit working

today i spoke with the repair person of Samsung service center. For your problem of the camera lens not working, he informed me that the small DC motor which is responsible for the lens to work has to be lubricated.But this is to be done only by an authorized service personnel.Please do not try to open the camera as it contains small and calibrated parts.They charge $10 as service charge.The service charge may differ according to your country.Hope your problem is solved.Please rate my solution as helpful.Have a great day!
