It keeps telling me check tank
It sounds like it is pumping the fluid but then the check tank comes on. We have taken it apart, cleaned, refilled and we still get the check tank. It primed about 5 or 6 times before the warning. I have the 5800 and have not used it very often. The last time I had no problems. The manual is useless since it tells you to go to 18 and then 24 and then back to 18. Can you help?

Prime Scooba's pump, as described here, but use water instead of air to prime the pump. Water is more effective. You'll have a little puddle under the robot if you've been successful.
Then rinse the tank through all four ports on the underside-- one round, two oval, one large and curved. All four are in a row at the bottom of the transparent area. You'll probably dislodge some clots of debris and sediment. Then refill the tank and run the robot. That ought to do it. If it doesn't, call customer support at 1-877-855-8593.
This solved the problem of chronic "check tank" as well as not laying down fluid!
