It will sew about 10 stiches,then stops and overload appears on screen...if i step off pedal and back on it begins again,but is shortlived...also does not recognize other stiches...please help! I love my machine and use it a lot!

Turn power off and wait about 20 minutes. Safety device will reset, and machine will be ready to operate. However the machine displays overload if the motor has to work too hard to move the needle through the material. It will do this if you are sewing some fabric that has too many layers. It will also do it if the shafts and gears inside the machine are too stiff to turn properly. It is probably time to get the machine cleaned, oiled, and adjusted.
