I've had my Lasko Windmachine fan for a couple of years now. Just recently, I turn it on and the motor will only spin VERY slowly, no change when I change the speeds. The blades just barely spin around and I'm not sure the best way to fix this. No strange noises or rattling or anything, just the barely spinning. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated! Jennifer
Would you be able to see if there are any obstruction to the fan causing it not to spin with full power?
If none, would you be able to try give a push to the propeller see if that will make it spin faster. If it spins then lubrication might be needed for the fans to spin like they normally do.
How is it receiving power? is it plugged into a power outet or does it receive power in another way?
If it's plug into a power outlet try another one because it could be receiving less electricity causing the fan not to spin properly.
If all else fails you may want to have it checked by a local technician because most likely there is a problem with the motor.

I had this problem, I turned it face down and beat the motor housing with my fist. Only been a few minutes but so far working on high speed!
