Jaguar XJ 6 97 engine shuts down acts like its not getting gas engine will restart and 22 to 35 minutes will run for about 5 minutes then shut down again could this be a gas filter problem

Could be a heat issue with electrical components, sensors, ignition control modules/coils etc. .
Could very well be the fuel filter, try replacing it, aslo check for a cramped fuel line, if the problem persists, check the fuel pump
