JL 12W3V3-4 rattles even at lower volumes
The subs excursion and rattling gets better when in a ported enclosure with a pillow in it. Not sure what the problem is. Also there aren't any visible tears or punctures. I dont know much about this stuff so any help is appreciated

They are most likely stretched out. try messing with the equalizer to make the sound more crisp.
