Last week, my husband was mowing a friend's lawn. The grass was wet and he tipped the mower trying to mow a steep hill. We have mowed this lawn before, but lost traction due to the grass being wet. Thankfully, my husband was not hurt, but mower ended up landing upside down. The hood is in several pieces, which we can replace down the road. But, our immediate problem, is the steering. The mower will not steer in forward or reverse. We have poked around as much as we know how and everything seems to be intact. Does anyone have any ideas on what to look for? The hoses and belts look intact. We are fairly mechanically inclined, but not mechanics, by any means. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.
