Just bought it and it won't come on?
Took it out of the package and it won't come on. My manual doesn't say anything about plugging it in to the car or computer to charge it in order for it to begin working. I have it plugged into the computer and am waiting to see if it is going to charge? Any suggestions?

I don't believe this model charges via hooking it up to a computer. I think it has to be plugged into the cigarette lighte of a car, or via an a/c adaptor. I use an a/c adaptor I bought on ebay for my portable cd player. It has a couple of different settings and it just happens that the cd player and the amcor 3900 use the same tip and voltage setting. Of course, after a year of use, my unit no longer locks onto the satellite signal so I am probably going to have to replace mine. Oh well, it worked great up until this week!
