Just bought machine. Filter holder is different from one described in booklet. It talks about the filter holder has been replaced by a spring systems that holds the filter in place. OK...so I got the big holder, a pod insert and another insert that doesn't seem to fit the basic holder. I am assuming that if I want a double shot I put it in the basic holder. I won't use the pod so that is a non problem. But the additional holder doesn't fit snugly. What's up if this isn't too confusing? Thanks, M. Fleshman

Hi m.fleshman! in answer to your question, i paid $25 for mine used...it's like a $25 paperweight. hold the coffee grinds basket up to a light-can you see light thru just one hole, or all of the holes? if just one, this passed quality control at the factory & shouldn't have passed. i imagine that details like this are rampant on this machine. if i had bought mine at the store instead of 2nd hand, i'd take it back for a full refund! otherwise, it may be that someone put the wrong filter in the package. it's also possible that you may need to take out the spring (if it's removable) from the bottom of the filter holder-i don't know b/c i bought mine used. hope this helps!
