If you can provide more information about the keyboard make and whether you have installed the drivers or not.
Solution : 1. Right click on MY Computer or Computer and click on properties 2. Click on Device Manager ( Hardware ) 3. from the list, click on + sign on keyboard 4. check if the keyboard name is listed / also check if there is no yellow exclamatory mark in the list as unknown device. 5. right click on the keyboard name ( wireless ) and click uninstall 6. Reboot the PC ( With the keyboard CD Driver disk in CD ROM ) 7. Continue with the New Hardware found Screen to re-install the drivers for Wireless Keyboard / Mouse
