This is probably due to the fact that you will need to purge the line. Be sure to ventulate the area that the stove is around and make sure you have no open flames while doing so. Also, remember that if you fill your propane tank FULL then it will take a little while for the pressure to build up in the tank because its cold outside. Hope that helps.
