Just installed a heller ceiling fan with remote, it works fine from the remote but the light nolonger works from the light switch
If I turn on the light stich on the wall I ahve power to the ceiling and the remote will active the light and or the fan as it is supposed to, however, the light switch on the wall will not light the light, ie I can only turn on the light from the remote. Its almost as if the remote sensor unit is set to normally off rather than normally on, however I can see a switch to change the setting

Check if there is an remote or manual switch selector in fan assembly
All the switch on the wall does is turn the power on/off. You have to do everything from the remote with the wall switch on.
