Just moved houses, and the amp puts out loud static when cable is plugged in. The house may not have grounded plugs, and I do not see a separate ground screw for attaching a stand-alone ground wire. What to do? Is this a grounding problem?

Get a 3 way adapter,, plug your amp into the adapter, and secure the ground wire to the center screw in the receptical cover , or if it comes with a tab instead of a wire, secure that
Thanks, the problem is I've got the European plug (recessed into socket so the ground point on the plug is not accessible for a wire). What about one of the screws on the case of the amp, would that work to ground there? Thanks, the problem is I've got the European plug (recessed into socket so the ground point on the plug is not accessible for a wire).
