Your problem is: Just purchased a miele g1142sc dishwasher had a mate over who is a plumber and installed it. No water is coming into the dishwasher is there any safety seals on the water hose, put water into dishwasher pump is working fine.

Please take no offense but a plumber is not the same as an experieced appliance installer. Any way, your mate may have done just fine but the water line is clogged or he failed to flush the line before hooking it up and you may now have a clogged solanoid valve. Did you run the d/w a couple of times before he left? Did you confirm it working then and now it's not?
