Just removed an old Moen one handle pullout kitchen faucet and installed a brand new updated version. Unable to get hot water line to work properly
If both hot & cold lines are opened I can't turn off the tap. If I shut off the hot water line and turn on the tap the cold line water works properly. I'm able to turn it on and off as it should work. But... if I shut off the cold water line and turn the hot water line on, the only way I can turn "off" the tap is to open, or turn on the tap. If I close the handle the hot water comes back on. Make sense? What the heck is wrong? Very frustrating to say the least. Can

Some new faucets come with there on supply lines when you tighten one will twist at the top near the faucet look under the sink to see if this has happened. i've had it happen not long ago
