I have a JVC camcorder model GR-AX700U and have resolved the EO4 error. My question is about the edit plug. It is a single prong plug that inserts in the top of the camera but I don't know what the other end goes to. It's the same single prong as the other end.

Also, how can I hook the camera up to my PC so I can save the tape content to my hard drive?
