I can't be much help with your scroll wheel problem except to say that if it is just spinning without any resistance it sounds like the wheel has lost contact with whatever 'drive mechanism' it is supposed to be engaging.
But as far as the "On/Off" switch, I CAN help! According to the Manual, there ISN'T
(This is Rob Keesee -- I wasn't finished when I accidentally hit the wrong key and 'posted' my "solution". What I was trying to say is --- Accoding to the Manual there ISN'T a single On/Off switch. Rather the mouse is turned on and off by the following process: "Press the scroll wheel button and the mouse connect button (on the bottom) at the same time." I have a Kensington Model K72214 Mouse. The dial does not work properly: instead of scrolling it spins. Also I am wondering where the on/off switch is on this. Rich
