K8M800-M2 motherboard I can't seem to find the solution to why this board will not shutdown. When I am done using my computer, I try the normal routine thru windows XP, but this machine wants to reboot. I have to hit the switch on the power supply? help would be much appreciated. Thanks Cindi

Try checking the BIOS settings some motherboards have some settings to power on the PC via network cable or modem. If this setting is turned on and you're connected to a router or modem (cable or dsl), it may be turning on your computer as soon as you turn it off.
