Sounds like the door switch. put a piece of tape or something on the switch and close the door and see if taking the slack out of the switch makes it start. Or, hold the switch in while pushing start. DO NOT put any body part inside dryer when doing this.. If this works the switch needs some adjusting.. how to do that I do not know. May be a bad switch, I just replaced mine on a kenmore other week. Maybe repairclinic.com could help ya.. have model number ready when you go to the site and look at the possible reasons.
