Kenmore Elite won't start
My (six year old) Kenmore Elite front loader suddenly stopped working. When I select the wash cycle I get a blinking red light and the cycle does not start when I press and hold start.
I've tried unplugging the machine, depressing pause/cancel and/or start and nothing starts the cycle. HELP!!! School starts in two days!!!

First of all, make sure haven't inadvertently locked your control panel. Press and hold the DRAIN/SPIN button for 3 seconds to see if it clears. How long did you unplug the washer for? The manufacturer recommends unplugging the washer for at least 30 minutes to reset the computer. Try this first and let me know what you have. It could be you only have a minor glitch.
If these preliminary checks prove unsuccessful, you may have a control panel problem. Do you have any error codes deisplayed? Please reply and let me know what you have.
