Fuel pump is going bad. or your pressure return is stuck. or your relay to the fuel pump is sticking .plugged fuel filter. bad ground to the pump. that is all i can think of besides a faulty key switch.but most likely its a pressure issue fuel injection needs a certain amount of pressure to fire the injector so when you change tanks the pump has a pressure change so the pump starts to keep up pressure. hope it helps
