Keystone hornet rv
Large slide is leaking in corner. Have had the dealer recaulk everything on that slide including the window. Still leaks. The slide is about 3 inches higher on one end when the slide is in and sets twice as far away from the wall on the side that's up. They (dealer) say thats nothing to worry about. Slide is level when it's closed. The problem isn't when it's closed. The problem is when it's open and it rains - IT LEAKS! Please help.

If any of your slides have windows in them, the window seals could allow water to leak into your RV. If your RV is not correctly leveled and the weather seals on your slideout are dried out, cracked or not making proper contact with the slide out, this could also cause leaking. You can use RV Roof Magic as a way to add a seal to your roof to make it waterproof and it will stop more water from getting in and causing damage.
Find another dealer...those guys are f***tards! That slide should be level and even when in OR out. Bent slide mechanism, mal-adjusted runners maybe. Have it checked out by someone who knows what they are doing.
Water can leak in FAR from where you see the damage. It runs downhill finding a low spot to settle. I would re-caulk the whole RV, paying special attention to the roof. Spend the money on roof sealer if you have to. Silicone tube caulk is a temporary fix. To be done right, you disassemble joints/panels and use the ribbon/string caulk. More work but should last at least 5 years.
Sooner or later they ALL will spring a leak. Keeping up on inspection and re-sealing regularly will minimize the damage.
