Kia Optima 2004
I was driving my Kia Optima 2004 LX on the freeway. Stop and go traffic, through construction, when power died to it completely! I have never had this happens before, and I know it wasn't the alternator, since it was so sudden. Any idea what it could be??

This happened to mine. it was fuel pump. all of a sudden car shut off.
This could be multiple issues.
1.) timing belt
2.) Crank sensor
3.) Fuel pump (although usually they do not just die they get weak)
Check these let me know.
had the some thing happen to me it was the crank sensor when ya do that go and put a new water pump your in the SPOT
