I have a Kicker KX500.2 amp and it cuts out for no reason but only sometimes. it is not a bad connection/ all connections have been checked, other amps work fine with same wiring. its not over heating because it will sometimes start with no sound when car is turned on. then maybe 10 mins later while driving it will just turn on. then off. then on again. what could be the problem?i checked the board eveything looks tight. had it serviced at a local shop and they found nothing wrong with it. but i installed it in 3 different friends cars and does the same thing. It may work for a week or 2 with no problems but then for no reason stop working for a day. if someone could help me it would be great. since this amp is worth some money i do not want to chuck it.
