Kicker kx800.4 sounds without power
I have a kx800.4 amplifier.
it was playing ok till one week ago.
the problem is that it plays but the volume is very weak, i have tried all the buttons and every thing but i cannot make to sound loud.it sounds but without power.it is the same in the 4 channels.i took it to workshop but they cannot figure out what going on with it.id like you to tell me what can be wrong with it so i can tell the repairman to fix it.
the repairman told he had checked everithing but hasn found anything wrong.
please help

Check to see if theres a gain port plug on the amp. It looks like a phone jack sometimes. If so make sure nothings in that port and make sure none of the prongs are touching one another. Thats the only thing i can think of the top of my head. It also could be a bad gain switch or something wrong with the radio and the line drop volts.
