KIRBY ISSUES! :(
Hi, we're troubleshooting. our kirby vacuum is "smoking" and smells like something is burning whenever we turn it on. we've replaced the belt but that didn't work because it does this even when the belt is turned off! what could this be? is it common? we want our kirby back! ;)

Sounds about right you should change that type of belt every six months to a year regardless if its broken or not. one other thing you should do is make sure the brush roll itself isn't bound up it should spin freely if not you can pull the plastic ends off the roller to clean any hair or thread out .
I have the Kirby Sentria and have just had problem shampooing carpet. The water comes out but isnt coverting the shampoo concentration in the water into 'foam'. I just get a line of water. Not good ..... help!. Love my Kirby .... need it working pronto!!!!!! Any suggestions?
