"kitchen aid model KeBS107SSS00 enter probe temperaure keeps coming on. I am not using a probe and it won't let me enter convec or normal cooking temperatures." Not my wording but it was the exact problem as this user. Can anyone help please? Checked the Manuel but in vain.....thanks
This happened on our Kitchenaid electric stove/oven as well! I unplugged the oven, opened up the outside panel of the oven (same side as the temp probe jack) and found a small metal tab adjacent to the jack. I opened that up to reveal the jack surrounded by moist fiberglass sheeting. A boiling pot of beans had over-flowed on that side of the range the day before. Moisture had gotten down in there and was crossing the connections. Once I dried off the exposed metallic parts and moved the moist fiberglass away from the connections, problem went away. Hopefully, a good self-cleaning cycle will dry up that moisture.
