Klipsch ksw subwoofer wont power on
I have completely isolated the sub from the receiver and all other speakers. I will unplug the sub and make sure that it is off. The sub calls for a 1.2 A 250V fuse. I will replace the fuse, plug it back in and turn it on. The power light does not light up. I will then unplug it and check the fuse. The fuse is blown. I have tried multiple power sources from different locations and the problem persists. Any ideas of how to bring the bass bass back?

The problem is Klipsch's problem, and they don't seem to want to face it. My 10" subwoofer blows the fuse before the power light can even come on. It's obvious that the fuse is not strong enough, but there is a delicate area between the fuse and the power supply. Too many amps on a fuse may keep it from blowing, but it may cook the power supply. Kipsch needs to fix this, tell us how to fix it, or replace it...at their expense. This should NOT be happening. Otherwise a great speaker....when it works.
The power supply switching transistors are likely fried. Dangerous high voltages involved. I would remove the plate and send it to Klipsch for repair.
