In most cases, when you have the problems you are having, it is because the float switch is not set properly. On most machines, it's located in the front of the machine, just behind the front cover, next to the water pump. It is usually white with a black boot on the bottom. There should be 2 screws holding it. You can loosen the screws and slide the float switch all the way down to the bottom of the slots and then tighten them back. This will lengthen the freeze cycle and the cubes will become larger. Your Model number is not in any of my manuals and the Hoshi tech site has no such model listed. Please check you model number. Can not get you dip switch settings if we don't know the machine you have. Plus Hoshi has changed their board several times. We would have to determine if yours has been changed, and if so, to which one. Hope this helps you.
