Knocking from the front of the motor slight minute dirt or shavings when oil was changed. transmission has been giving me a problem going ino 2 but its smooth just the noise

Check the belt tensioner, they stick and get sand in them. If you had shavings in the oil, you lost a bearing in the motor, sometimes a can of ZED or Slick 50 type additive can help for a while. Usually not a long while though.
