On this series of projectors, timer function is controlled by a metal "wiper" that makes electrical contact when it moves over one of the cutouts in the insulating disc on the back of the camstack. There should be a wire attached to the "wiper. If you disconnect it the timer will stop functioning. It also could have nothing to do with the timer, it could be the clutch spring not being stopped by the clutch contact. Because of the age of the projector, there may or may not be parts still available (Kodak no longer stocks repair parts). My advice is to contact: www.micro-tools.com to check if parts are available first. They may also be able to help you with a recommendation for a repair dealer. Good Luck!
