Krups xp2070 will not brew. Has power but water
Krups xp2070 will not brew. Has power but water will not flow or heater not work. When plugged in, light goes on then about 10sec later a beep is heard. Also, when plugging in, a "clunk" noise is made coming from machine only upon plugging it in. Worried it may cost too much to fix if I have to ship it in to a service center.

Thanks for using FixYa. First of all you’ll need to check the element is fine. If not, then replace it and de scale the Coffee Maker as per instructions given in the manual. If still the issue is not resolved then boil white vinegar in the unit. If the tube isn't completely blocked, the acid steam will clear it. You can also pre-soak the tube in hot vinegar or boil it in a pan after removing the tube. To keep the scale deposits down you’ll need to flow out the steam through the tube once every 3 months. Also check that there is water in the tank and that the tank is firmly pressed down and try a courser grind of espresso. Run some steam through the nozzle to see if it is working fine. After the steam is ran it will come out un evenly then cool it down. The espresso will now work fine
