L450D satellite won,t reboot from hard disk drive
The system recovery options is unable to repair my laptop, and windows 7 startup screen does not display when turned on ? and recovery disk cannot be found, i dont know how to set BIOS to default settings ,and carn,t restore pre-installed software , I carn,t even reset to factory settings , can anybody please help please .

Another possibility, press F8 during the boot sequence to enter "Administrator Mode" and follow the prompts. This will allow you to repair a damaged boot sector.
Try F12, F2 or F1 on power up to get into the boot menu.
Once in there change the boot sequence to try booting from the CD/DVD drive first and hard drive second. There are various options to download a rescue disk based on Linux on the internet. They download as .iso files which you save onto a CD/DVD.
You need to do this on another computer connected to the internet.
My favourite is KNOPPIX as it is a windows type GUI desktop. you can then try to repair you hard drive. Knoppix will exist in RAM only as long as the computer is turned on, so it wont damage your computer.
