Lack of power
I have a power lead wired into my ignition so I do not need to use the external battery facility. My N40i periodically cuts out if I am stopped at traffic lights. What setting should the power be on within the system where it gives 'never' to XX minutes for both battery and external. Please, please advise.

Is it the power cut-off or the fact that you are not moving?
The Auto-off feature will turn off the unit when no movement is detected. Meaning, when you come to a stop and do not move for a minute, two minutes, or what every amount of time you’ve set, the until will turn itself of saving you power. You can also set this for the DC power cord. Mine is set for 5 minutes.
