Control panel, power options, change plan settings under balanced, change advanced power settings, scroll down to processor power management, then minimum processor state, change value to %100. Then go to system in control panel, device manager, acpi fan, right click, properties, driver tab, update driver, browse computer, let me pick from a list, uncheck show compatble hardware, scroll down to volume manager, next, click yes. I hope I remembered it all, I did this yestderday and had to retrace my steps to write this. The guy I talked to claimed to have come up with this solution, we'll see if it works, no probs. yet. When I restarted the computer there was an error message but it only happened that first time, he said it was ok. Hope this helps.
