Lawnmower will start but will not stay on
The lawnmower will start after pumping gas, but dies immediately after starting. I changed out gas tank because I could not get the screw out of the filter. I have a Weedeater 300 series push lawnmower. I changed oil, sparkplug, and gas. I put all parts back on including springs when I replaced gas tank. I need mower to mow a lot that no one else will mow and owner is dead. Can not afford to keep buying or having lawn mower fixed (they want $52.+ to even look at it.) Thank you for any help you can give me.

I had the same problem, what you need to do is adjust your throttle. To do that you there is a switch right in front of the filter. If you are looking right at it pull it all the way to left. If this dosen't work then check the springs that are connected to that switch they have a bad habit of coming loose. I had to replace all of my springs. Hope that helps.
It sounds like you have a leak in your gas line
