I purchased my mpd32 just about 8 months ago, and the screen has completely shut off. I can see the settings with the help of a flashlight at a certain angle, but i cannot press "enter" to change the contrast. Is it safe to assume that this is indeed a hardware issue? I read somewhere that it's possible to bring back the screen by messing with the firmware, but i'm not trying to create a bigger problem. Not worried about having to replace the unit itself, being that i have a 2 yr warranty on it, but it would be nice to know if there are any other alternative solutions....
