It depends on WHERE the two were shorted. If you REALLY have done that, and now nothing works NO LIGHTS or Dashboard lights ???? !!!!!!! Then you have probably destroyed the Battery. Try and connect a spare car bulb dirct across the battery terminals to see if dead or better still use a multimeter.for 12 volts. Time for a new Battery. Connect it up and all will be well. If you shorted it AFTER the fuses in the circuit , then you have probably just blown a fuse and battery will be fine. Hope that my explanation is not too complicated.

More than likely you blew a fuse ,go over fuse box eaven if you have to pull or test every fuse just do it one by one.
