LG 250 Volt, 18000 btu window air conditioner. Tested power on the outlet, and that is fine...but will not power up the unit. Have already tried the reset and test buttons, still nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Take cover off of electrical compartment, locate power on off switch, see if you have proper voltage before and after switch, if power is present locate thermostat, check the same way, also look for burnt wiring, Good luck.
