LG stainless steel steam dishwasher started making a loud whirring sound while washing dishes. It sounds like a motor spinning. I can't tell where it is coming from, maybe the chopping blade or perhaps the motor. I can hear it spin-up shortly after the cycle starts, and then it stops while it is draining. The sound is only audible while it is washing. We've only had this DW for about 2 years, probably past the warranty, but still quite young as far as appliances go.
