LG Vu -how can I tranfer pictures?
I purchase my LG Vu about 3 weeks ago. I have several pictures I want to transfer to my computer. I purchased a data cable online and tried it out. The phone screen shows one message that says "Connecting as Music Sync...", immediately after that another message comes on "Insert Memory Card for Music Sync Service".
First, I had to download the drivers off the internet. Second, I have no idea what memory card it's asking for~ any memory card? Third, would I be able to transfer pictures and videos with this cable? I thought that's what a DATA TRANSFER cable would do, not just for music. My phone before this one was a SonyEricson phone where I was able to download a PC Suite where I could manage, backup and synchronize my data. Could any one help me with this phone? I'm really frustrated since I just purchased the cable and is not doing what I thought. I really appreciate any input...thanks in advance!

It is quite a bummer, but you have to select one picture at a time, go to options, select move, choose memory card, select paste and then when you have moved all of your pictures over to your memory card you can get them on your computer via the data cable. I miss my sony!

You can email pictures from your phone to your computer.
1.go to the picture
2. send via: message
3. instead of entering a phone number, enter your email. in about 5 minutes you should receive it.
Ok peeps. Just go to your camera. Select settings on the right bottom of the screen. Touch primary storage. Touch Memory card and Save. All your pics will download to your computer in seconds. Have a great day!
It tells me my memory card is full, and switches back to handset. My memory card is using only 15% of the available memory, so it is by no means full.
Have the picture highlighted, click options and then move, selece move to memory card. You can only do it one by one.
Switch the phone to data sync... I have the same phone and that worked for me
I was only able to send pictures ti my Vu via Bluetooth.
It takes a MicroSD expansion card, which goes into the back where the sim card lives. there is a spot for it near the sim.

This worked for me. From the VU menu select the files tab, then the pictures, then select the picture from the list, the next screen has options, select "Send Via", then "Bluetooth". (make sure your bluetooth is turned on and your PC has the bluetooth enabled. )Once it is synced up it will ask for password and permission and and then copy the picture to the bluetooth directory on the PC. No memory card needed.
If you have bluetooth capable computer you won't need memory card or data cable. you can only send them one by one though.
Simply call the lg support line and they will help .call on a phone other than your vu so you can access it while they solve the problem . its just a matter of sending your pictures to your memory card in your phone, they will tell you how to do it
