See if you can get some water into your pressure cooker. The water will fill up the pressure cooker and get rid of the air that's causing a vacuum. When you have enough water in the pot itself, the lid should rise up (even ever so slightly) and release it's grip on the pot.
We have a one pot cooker. Cosori brand. First time using the lid was not put on right now it won't even budge to get it off. Food inside as well. Any help would be appreciated. Hubby is feeling terrible.

Do what you did in reverse
