Liebherr fridge 3150 keeps freezing

The fridge keeps freezing food. I have cleared the drainage hole into the evaporator but still keeps freezing. Can anyone help? Chris

The problem is the thermostat, not the drainhole. The thermostat should stop the compressor when a setpoint temperature has been reached, this gives the unit a chance for a small defrost.
